Who is a TaskMate?
A trained general support professional for lifting, carrying, holding, setup and technician assistance — never a replacement for a skilled technician where expertise is required.
How is the team for my job decided?
Our recommendation engine considers item type, size, quantity, floors, lift access, dismantling and technical needs — you see the recommended team and price before confirming.
Can a TaskMate do electrical or AC work?
No. TaskMates may hold ladders, carry tools and position equipment, but all technical work stays with the certified expert, who remains the job lead.
How is TaskMate priced?
Hourly, per-task, per-item or half-day packages — all rates are shown in the booking summary as a separate manpower line, never hidden inside other charges.
Do members get a benefit?
Yes — Zaddy members get a configurable discount on TaskMate rates, applied automatically in the price summary.
What if my technician needs extra help on site?
The technician raises a TaskMate request with a reason. You see the reason and any additional charge, and approve or decline before anyone is dispatched.
Can I add manpower after booking?
Yes — on supported bookings you can add TaskMates from the booking flow; the additional charge is shown upfront.
Is there a safety limit?
Yes — jobs needing cranes, hoists, rigging or unsafe staircase movement are escalated to a specialist service instead of forcing a manpower-only solution.
Do you provide house-to-house moving?
No — TaskMate covers in-home movement only. Inter-house transport stays with a future Movers/Relocation service.
